TQ Spirit Drop-ins

UPDATED: MARCH 11, 2026

Drop-Ins for March-April 2026
      • Tai Chi Drop-Ins: We love it when people want to try out Tai Chi. However, due to popular demand, at this time, drop-ins are not available for Tai Chi classes. In order to have the option to Drop-In with a Tai Chi 4-pack, it needs to be at the beginning of a session: In January, April or September.
      • Qigong Drop-Ins: Due to popular demand our In-Person Saturday Qigong is not able to offer Drop-Ins or 4 packs. Zoom Drop-Ins are still available: 4 packs for Live-On-Zoom classes. Full and Pro-rated registration is also available for Zoom Saturday Qigong. There is a Wait List for In-Person Saturday Qigong. You are welcome to join it and if a spot becomes available we will be in touch!

The Year of Fire Horse

On February 16th, the Year of the Snake came to its natural completion, closing a cycle of inward cultivation. The Snake teaches patience, resilience, and the quiet strengthening that happens beyond the visible. Over the past year, we were invited to slow down, refine our awareness, and deepen our roots — preparing ourselves in ways that may not have always been obvious, but were deeply meaningful.

With the Lunar New Year on February 17th, we entered the Year of the Fire Horse — a powerful turning toward movement, vitality, and expression. The Horse carries the energy of warmth, courage, and forward momentum. It does not abandon the wisdom of the past, but brings it into motion. What was cultivated quietly during the Snake year now begins to live and breathe through action.

As we begin our Spring into Summer Tai Chi and Qigong sessions for April through July, we move in harmony with this natural shift. The body awakens. The breath deepens. The spirit lifts. We do not begin again as practitioners, whether we are beginners or long-timers, shaped by experience — ready to step forward with renewed energy, steady confidence, and a quiet trust in the path unfolding beneath our feet.

  • When attending an In-Person Drop-In class at any of the locations, please arrive at least 15-20 minutes in advance of your first class as there may be an additional waiver to sign. There will be someone there to welcome you.
