HOW TO REGISTER for TQSPIRIT CLASSES
We’ve made registration as simple as possible for both new and returning students. If at any point you feel unsure, please email us — we are always happy to help.
FIRST TIME TO THE SITE? Here is a quick overview
- Take some time to browse the site. Find out which classes interest you. Find the right fit for you.
- Email us with any questions.
- CREATE AN ACCOUNT.
- Complete your student profile.
- Add classes (and videos, if applicable) to your Cart. Submit registration.
- In-Person? Pay via e-transfer, cheque, or cash. Live-On-Zoom? Pay via e-transfer only.
- We’re here to help every step of the way.
All In-Person students will always have the option to be on Zoom (if that class offers it) just in case they are not feeling well, but still want to watch and attend online, or, are travelling and don’t want to miss out on any of the classes. We have students Zooming in from all over the World.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR REGISTRATION PROCESS
TQSpirit registration is offered in stages so that we can be fair to current students, those already waiting for a class, and new students who are just finding us..
Some classes may first be offered through Priority Registration for current students, then through Level 2 Registration for people on the Waitlist, and then, if space remains, Open to the Public. IMPORTANT TIP: The best thing to do is get on our Wailist, then you’ll immediately get Level 2 Registration options.
During Priority Registration and Level 2 Registration, students who are eligible to register will receive a special registration code. This code must be entered at Check Out in order to complete registration while that stage is active.
Once the registration code has been removed from the class page, this means the class is open for public registration, as long as space is still available.
This staged process helps us honour returning students, offer spaces fairly to those already waiting, and welcome new people into the TQSpirit community as space becomes available.
REGISTRATION DETAILS FOR NEW STUDENTS
If you are a new Tai Chi or Qigong Student, or a Drop-In, you are required to create an account.
- Step 1: Go to the LOGIN/CREATE page
- Step 2: Create your profile, answering all the required questions, ensuring that all fields are complete.
- Step 3: Choose your class or classes by filling in the CART and Check Out.
- Step 4: Check Out to submit your registration. Once you Check Out, you will receive a statement by email with your class details, payment instructions, payment options, and any Zoom links that may apply to your class.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
- Payment Options for In-Person Students: Interac E-transfer, cheque or cash. Please note that cash payments are not available for Zoom classes. Sorry, no debit or credit cards at this time, and your Zoom Links.
- Payment Options for Zoom Students: Interac E-transfer Only. Sorry, no debit or credit cards at this time. Payment for Zoom students should be made at least 24 hours prior to the start of the class.
- It is just that simple!

Payment Options for Drop-Ins
- In-Person Drop-Ins are not always possible if the class is already full. It is always best to email us first to see if space is available. Payment Options for Drop-Ins In-Person: Only E-transfer or Cash. Sorry, no cheques, debit or credit for Drop-Ins.
- In-person Drop-Ins need to arrive at least 20 minutes early. You will be required to sign a Waiver prior to participating. Please ensure you have your ID.
- Payment Options for Drop-Ins, Live-On-Zoom is by E-transfer only and at least 12-24 hours in advance of the class. You must register online as a Drop-In to receive your Zoom Details.
If you are a Returning Student:
- Go to the LOGIN/CREATE page
- Sign In with your email address and passcode.
- Choose your classes by filling in the CART and Check Out.
- If you need help to register, just email us!
SPECIAL NOTE re ZOOM LINKS
- If you are in a class where Zoom is an option please note that your Zoom links will be on the Statement you receive. Please keep the links, meeting ID’s and passcodes, somewhere easily accessible for future use. If you can’t find your Zoom link we do require advance notice. If you send an email to us asking for a Zoom link just prior to the start of the class it is unlikely we will be able to respond and send it to you.
- Many in-person TQSpirit students also appreciate having the option to attend on Zoom when a class offers it.This can be helpful if: You are not feeling well enough to attend in person; You are travelling; You are delayed by traffic; You do not want to miss a class.
- We have students Zooming in from across the North Shore, throughout British Columbia, across Canada, and even from other parts of the world. Whether you join in person or online, we are glad to have you as part of the TQSpirit community.
